In the first part of this inaugural lecture, I will provide an overview of the field of knowledge-aware artificial intelligence, with a focus on two pillars of AI knowledge, knowledge graphs (KGs) and large language models (LLMs). The second part will highlight key areas of my research, including knowledge estimation, knowledge extraction, and commonsense knowledge. I will also provide a recipe for successfully completing CS studies at TUD with chatGPT
